wow

When was the last time, you submitted something? :O Wow, I really like the unpredictability of it :) You're shifting from major to minor and to all kind of chord schemes. I really like the way it all just laps (is that a correct word :O) like a river or something xD I love the chords at 1:19 and 0:52 till around 1 min.

but come on, you should really buy yourself a midi keyboard xD or do u have one and quantized everything?

well, not much else to say. I'd like to see the sheet though :)

5/5, 10/10

ObsidianSnow responds:

XD I don't even know how long it's been since my last submission.

Yeah, I've been trying to get away from using chord schemes that just repeat - I'm trying to learn how to get the music to keep moving and changing constantly while still generating a familiar theme inside of it... It's not easy, but I'm making progress. Also, as a point of interest, I've fallen in love with the major 9th interval in chords. Gives it a kind of gentle dissonance that no other interval seems to produce...

Lol, I agree, I need a MIDI keyboard... for this one I literally sat next to an upright at school, played part of a bar, put what I heard into the sequencer with my laptop's touch pad, and repeated the process a few thousand times. :P I randomized the quantization a little, which helps, but as I've discovered: randomizing never makes it sound human. For a real, authentic sound, you have to spend hours perfecting each individual note... and I just don't have the time XD

For sure, I'll pass the sheets your way once I get them together.

Thanks, MW!

this is an awesome song for madness. Well, maybe not perfect for madness because a lot of people who watch madness don't have a subwoofer, but the song itself is AWESOME.

I really like the chords and bass and the drums at 2:40 are SOOOOO FACKING UNBELIEVABLE GOOD. I can't complain about the mastering because I'm not that good at it...

definitely a download, favorite, 5/5 and 10/10

KroweMusic responds:

LOL. It's very nice to hear from you again, mjattie :D

I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much :D

OH MY

This is so unbelievably awesome! The bass blows me away :) It's nice that some drums are a bit glitchy and not totally in sync. :) I'd totally like to listen this when I'm drunk. I just... Whow! Never heard anything like this xD Only, I won't download it, because, well, it's too spastic to just listen to haha.

just awesome, 5/5, 10/10

SmithCommaJohn responds:

I love how you put in that you should listen while youre drunk. haha

Thanks for your review, man.

it's nice

ok you stole the melody in the beginning and it needs some mastering, but it's certainly nice. It has a lot elements but it doesn't sound like you're going to something. It's a mashup of all kinds of things.

5/5, 9/10

MW-Audio (Mjattie)

starts slow, has nice ideas

drums sound a bit plain. And there isn't really a melody or something. It has nice elements, but it sounds a bit like you put some loops together.

4/5, 8/10

kay

I like the synths and piano but the drums are a bit plain. Try some reverb and delay and tape distortion or whatever. xD Because the drums sound very preset.

Not bad though, only short...

9/10, 5/10

VampIce responds:

I think im gna mix up the drums abit, make it a little less "preset" :P and ye the reason y it is short is cause i intended it to be a loop. I made to be looped :) but thanx for ur input!

awesome

I really like this kind of soft DnB. You really did a great job, between all the crap here!

The synths you used are nice and the bass is cool. Did you use Reason for this? I'm going to check out some of your other tracks :D

5/5, 10/10,

yeh reason and thanks :)

OMG Mussirus

This is a nice song, but the story... xD Bit sad, but cool. xD

I like the strange synths and the deadmau5-ish plucks. It's certainly nice to dance to. The bass is a bit too dirty at times though, making it muddy, but that's not really a big issue.

5/5, 10/10

heyhey long time no see

This song is nice. I think your drums are way better than the original and while the original has a 8bit feeling, this has a more "rave-feeling". Piano is a nice touch. Effects are nice, but I think the instruments are all a small bit out of tune resulting in a bit less-serious song. I think if you make the pads a bit less out of tune, it will sound more serious, but you should only do that if it wasn't on purpose xD

well, I give you a 5/5 and a 9/10.

MW-Audio (Mjattie) btw, a track similar to the professionality of "your answer" is coming xD

Airprogressive responds:

Thank you Mjattie, for your review and ratings

Yeah, seriousness was not important for me in this remix xD

I don't see the moment to listen to that new track your talking about!

lolol

Reason scratch loops xD So recognizable :D but hey, it's a nice song! Everything is a bit loud and now is your mclass mastering suite lowering the gain: not so nice, so put everything down a bit, the balance is good.

4/5, 8/10

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

For scratch loops being so recognizable, you should know that they sure weren't from Reason
You know if the entire track is a bit loud I think it could be solved by turning your volume down
...but that's just me
Not sure what you mean by "mclass mastering suite". [I don't use Reason]

Thanks for your remarks
